Here's the breakdown on the oil shipping: I don't charge for the oil to OPE folks, but feel free to toss a tip my way for packaging and delivering to the post office.

1.5L is 2Kg shipping weight 36 Eu or $43
3L is 3.5 shipping weight 52Eu or $62
5L is 6Kg shipping weight 62 Eu or $80

Here is the comparable price if buying stateside already for the type of oil I have right now...
1.5L costs $68 plus shipping. 5L would be over $300.

My oil is the Koroneiki variety. I blend in a few wild olives to help with acidity and give it some bite. The wild olives are good for health.

If you want to ask any of the guys that have previously gotten oil, I think they will give some good feedback.

What all do you guys use the olive oil for?
I use it in things like pasta water for boiling.
( Choice is usually a semi-random grab of "extra virgin" in the grocery store )
A tablespoon~ish might go in the grits sometimes (butter is still classic there though!)
Have put a bit in the skillet for scrambled eggs to help with sticking.
But that's about it.
But you guys have me a little curious now.

Olive oil and some choice seasonings brushed on veggies while grilling over low heat !!!!!!

Makes Me wish I was more inclined to eat water critters.
'course I'd still take a sample.....one never knows....
I tended to prefer a good "yard mashin" aka the weekend long cookout for my fish dalliances.
A bit of corn liquor and late in the day, hanging out by the hanging iron pot and helping cut sweet potatoes for fries.
Get a bite of the steaming hot fish as it's lain out on the same big bench.
One of the few times I'd really have much to drink.
Safe place to spend the night if you feel like it.

We basically bathe in the stuff given the quantities we harvest. Lol. I probably average 150-200 gallons of extra virgin per harvest year. We use it for salads and cooking. It’s my philosophy that a little oil and lemon will make darned near anything taste good.

A good salad dressing from oil/lemon or oil/vinegar is unbeatable. Take a baby food jar and fill about half full with oil. Add lemon until the jar is 2/3 full. Add a pinch of salt, pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of minced or grated garlic. Cap it shake the chit out of it. Pour a little of that over salad, baked potato, grilled fish, broccoli, cauliflower, collards, spinach , etc.

I know this is not a 500i for sale thread. But i would like to know the cost and availability of one if you have time for it.

Figured this would work as a bump as well but i see olive oil has done just fine.
