I like those snubbers on the 10 Series, makes it easy to disconnect the choke and get the carburetor off.

I posted my big H&S spike for the large frame direct drive saws recently, just a reminder:

I just got another one off e-Bay, smaller overall in size. I went ahead and sandblasted it and shot it with primer. I also have one that fits the large frame gear drive saws. This one had seen some hard use and had been cracked and re-welded.

My 125 had a welded spike like that on it. Thought it was homemade but I'll have to look closer

I have a good friend that lives in Cali, H&S felling dogs was started in his grand fathers shop
out in the back room. Later they had moved. I have quite a lot of those dogs that are on many
saws. Homelite, Mac's, Jonsereds, Stihl, Sachs Dolmar, etc.

It is a cross between the CP and the SP, there is a bracket that comes off the tab on the bottom of the block that attaches to the bottom of the wrap handle.

You think $500+ shipping is too much for this. I’m a bit on the fence. Been wanting to get one. Looks te be a little rough around the edges. Sounds like it is a good runner though.

That's about as cheap as they get. I see the top cover is broke. I have a pretty good black one you can have. At least I think its around somewhere.

On the plus side, it should have a steel sleeve so you could bore it oversize if needed.

On the negatives, someone cut the AF cover, saw dust screen is broken (Bob Johnson has NOS, I have 3D printed replacements), muffler cover is missing, home made spike (now you may wish you'd have kept that small H&S), and something is going on with the compression release...could be just the anti-vibe mounts are broken but you should check it out.

I have a question. Did the CP with the round muffler ever come with a cover over the muffler

All of the IPL's that I have show the CP125 with just the round muffler, no cover.

I have two CP125 and one CP125S and none of them have a cover over the muffler.

There was a sort of retro-fit kit that would allow you to install the rectangular muffler and cover.

For that matter I don't have that much money in two 125's and a 105 but then again I bought them before they became so popular .

I have a Mcculloch super 250 that I rebuilt the carburetor, and change the points and condenser. It has nice blue spark but it will not run on gas in the carburetor. What could be wrong?

Your Reed valves may not be sealing properly causing no case compression. How is cylinder compression? Should be over 100psi. These saws run very well around 125psi.

Speaking of 250's...
Is there any significance to a Belgian 250?
I was going through the 250's i have today to see if anything was worth saving and found the Belgian connection.
