Just as an fyi, the Stihl EDTs are rebadged GDI (formerly sendec, built right here in Rochester NY)
I happen to live about 15 min from the GDI factory LOL and have both an older Stihl edt2 (i think? Have to check, have had it for 9 yrs now, still works great), and an even older sendec that i have mounted in my gas rc boat, that one can record peak rpm and recall later, hence why its in the boat, also has an hr meter built in for monitering maintenence intervals for the boat
