First of all I know exactly nothing about the saw mentioned .However some three cubers have enough power to change up to an 8 tooth .325 rim which will be more chain speed .That would be about the least expensive way to get more cut speed . FWIW I have a Partner model 5000 plus that has no problems running an 8 tooth and it's a stock saw .

I`m not sure on the difference either. It might be that the 23RS standard is a anti-kickback, and the 23RS-Pro, is not (?)
23RS is (was?) standard width .050 .325 chisel. RS Pro is narrow kerf.

Also, i was noticing, the OEM chain on this CS4910 saw, when comparing the OEM chain to the oregon (M72) pro chain that i bought, the cutters are longer on the OEM chain compared to the oregon M72 chain. I`m not sure what chain brand Echo uses on these CS4901`s. I thought they came with oregon on them from the factory. If that`s true, they surely don`t look like the oregon M72 pro chain if you compare the actual cutters.

My Echo CS7310P has an oregon EXL on it. That saw cuts NICE!
M72 is NK I believe. Your 4910 probably still has the standard width .325

Here is my 550 with a new loop of .325" Husqvarna X-cut chain wood is hard maple bar and wood both 16".
I likes it. :)

This is a new loop of Raisman .325" chisel tooth chain out of the box. 20" bar and 15" black ash.
Cuts good for 1/2 the price. ;)

Read just above the vidja.
That's just a stock saw that runs good, ported ones won't hang up and will keep on cutting.

That was just a firewood cutting vid. Lol

I got a round ground full chisel 3/8" .050" 72DL on my ported Makita EA5000 XS.
Fresh beech & hornbeam, damn fast cutting , no bogging.

Although, 3/8" chain does not play too well with my stock PS-460/4600 , especially in turkey oak.
.325" is the correct ticket here.
