OK So here is my question.I want to replace the oil pump in my Stihl 025. The dealers price is, well lets just say not in my price range. So now Amazon has the oil pump 3201, the higher volume, the oil supply line, the oil filter and the drive gear all for under $20. Now are these all stihl parts or some chinese knock offs?Any information would be helpful. I am simply attempting to conserve my resources for other expenditures Thanks, Ken

Do you have a link? Many times you have to read the fine print to find out if it’s oem or oem “replacement.”

I'm sure it's aftermarket. You could ask some of the guys here if they have a used OEM one for cheap.

What's wrong with your current oiler?

Well it is oiling however I think that it should be more.It takes several minutes to get any sign on the cardboard with several revs. The bar is clean and laying flat on the housing. It just does not look like enough to me.

Is the intake screen plugged? My run some kerosene or diesel through it to clean it out.

I don't have the most experience but oilers seem to work or not work type of thing. I'd check that screen.

Now I did have a ms290 that seemed pretty stingy until I ran winter blend bar oil.

Keep us updated please.

And it's not like Stihl makes all their parts and saws in the Father land anyways.

Check if the oiler hole on the bar lines up with the oiler outlet slot on Your saws case.

I have had stinky oiling because the bars oiler hole was misaligned by ~50% in height.
A burr and a dremel type grinder fixed that.

Should have snapped a pic. I bought an air filter for a TS420 at my local dealer last week. “ Stihl Made in China” printed the side of the filter. $20 for a $4 filter. Pffffttttt
