Isn't it a 16002 C3 ? (I usually pick these up at the bearing house locally -- the Stihl dealer jacks the price up).
You are correct it's a 16002 c3 I just picked this one up from my local bearing dealer. Is the same price as oem but I like the fact that it has a metal cage. 20160705_163056.jpg 20160705_163411.jpg

Pics help others, especially in this situation. If someone stumbles across this if 5 years and it helps them then I did my job.

Definitive Dave carries the flywheel side bearing in his store sometimes, so you might check there. I've bought several from him.

Any chance anyone has any long term use on the aftermarket bearings for these saws (specifically the PTO side).
I've used brands from the local bearing supplier for years on the flywheel side. The PTO side is generally proprietary -- yet some from across the sea have been appearing on Ebay.

Bump.

Anyone have a bearing number for the PTO side. I believe the size is 15x35x13.
Stihl part # 9523 003 4260

I buy a lot of bearings from local ball bearings and I can't seem to be able to find the PTO side bearings on their website.

Yep, proprietary. But... I have two AM China bearings going right now. One in an 064 from Weedeaterman/Farmertec?, one in a 460 from Weedeaterman. The oem prices vary... if they go back up here for bearings I would use AM again.

*got 2 bearings with obvious issues that I didnt use. Once again, ya never really know with non-OEM.
