So I cleaned this up.
Under 3x magnification I can see some scratches, and it looks like a little plating may be gone in the transfer divider on one side. Its below the combustion chamber.
Camera doesnt take the best pics. I took pics through the magnifier.
Wrist pin bearing has been pretty hot, as has the rest of it. Ive got a good crank of anyone thinks it would be worth trying with a new piston, id like to hear about it.0210201708a.jpg 0210201709.jpg 0210201709a.jpg 0210201724.jpg 0210201724a.jpg

I can't tell about the cylinder but I would definitely discard the piston. But that is just my opinion.

IIRC, there is no aftermarket piston w/rings available for the 019t. Your Stihl dealer will have to order in the OEM.

The fellows at my favorite local dealer avoid them like the plague.

I worked on an ms 191t and even with the large cylinder it was a out of balance turd. With a bit of muffler work and timing it’s better but not up to the 45cc it is. I think the long plastic intake holds it back some. I’m not super fond of working on it but want to mess wit more to see if I can get it to cut like it’s as big as it is

16” narrow kerf and a done up 200 embarrasses it, I thought the same as you when I bought it high torque for long bar in tree saw or basket saw for the tree service. It isn’t what it should be
