A few years ago it was nice to catch a 10” or 11” crappie in our subdivision lake. They are definitely bigger this year. 2-10” an 11”, 12”, 13”, and a 14”

Made a bunch of sinkers and some hogs today. They’re not perfect but some turned out great. They’ll fish fine. Was using wheel weights. They don’t pour as well as some of the softer good lead I have. I have some super ugly ones they’ll amuse me to catch some fish on though

I hope I catch a money tag this year, I caught 100 dollar tag in 2013, there were only a few that year, most are for cases of beer but it's for a good cause and each year less and less people join.

I do live 50 yards from 1,652.517239 sq mi lake so yeah some fishing every now and then. Perch is the best fish in the world if you ask me and there is a lot of those there. Mainly half a ft to 1ft long ones.

Water was still muddy yesterday and fishing was slow. I didn't get anything all the way in, but a few fish were caught. Sometimes its more about just getting together than the fish though. Hot breakfast on the river bank is hard to beat in cooler weather.

Nice day yesterday. Guesser were calling for nasty weather in the area so I headed to a hilly lake and trolled a creek arm. Not even a sprinkle until we headed home and barely enough to run wipers one swipe.
