My first muffler mod with silver brazing rod. It will be used on the raffle saw. Should be nice with the opened up center tube thing.

Have not finished cleaning it up to paint yet. Have one small almost through hole in one spot near the pipe... have to add a little silver there yet.

Went well for first shot at super thin metal.

I've got a wild thing for my trash saw, after a mm and some carb tweaking she runs great. Use it in the creeks at the farm when trees have fallen in.

Dad had one of those little wood sharks, glad when it took out the piston and cylinder on that junk, I got tired of fixing stuff on that oil leaker.

You ain't a kidding there! I put just barely enough in that thing for a couple cuts and when not in use it sets clutch side up in a box of old rags.

He had a ms170 also, hated that lil cuse, almost as bad as that wood shark, of course it had enough oil and crude caked on that saw I don't see how it ran. The day I took it apart and washed it real good and fixed the oil leak, was the day someone stole it out of his garage. That was a happy day.

Yep, same thang he did. I pulled the pump and line, cleaned it up and made sure everything was sealed up, two weeks later it was leaking again.
