Ya oddly the 390 looks to be tip heavy but balances very well. Still a heavy set up with the Cannon wide nose but I use it to noodle big pieces so not alota moving around with itAll them saws are set up well, it makes a big difference not fighting unbalanced weight at the end of the day.
Balances really well. I guess the best balancing rig Ive had was the 440 hybrid with thw 28es light. It seemed to float in mid air064 FTW

totally agree. All them saws are set up well, it makes a big difference not fighting unbalanced weight at the end of the day.
For limbing I like a tad to the rear like on the 346 with 16" Cannontotally agree.
All my saws have bar&chain combo who balance them perfect, no front or back heavy.
My 395 is a more handy feeling saw with a 32" has no nose weight with a shorter bar.My Buddy, member John Laslab, had a 661c with a 32 es light that was very well balanced also. Kinda blew my mind a big saw with a good length bar could balance and feel like much less weight than it is
I think the modern 'reduced wieght' bar option has done wonders in balancing saws particularly larger 28"-36" bars to power heads. I still think light weight bars have a lot of room for improvement. The Tsum/Sugi RW's could be a LOT lighter, the Stihl/Oregon designs seems to really remove the weight. Getting a Sugi/Tsum/Cannon and modifying it yourself with an angle grinder & cutoff wheel takes a RW bar to a whole new level.Balances really well. Yeah it's crazy how light the Stihl bars are. I showed @jmssaws my 36" Stihl light and compared it to a regular ES and he bout chit himselfI think the modern 'reduced wieght' bar option has done wonders in balancing saws particularly larger 28"-36" bars to power heads.
