Just got a tree service retired 365, it was a great saw for a while 3/4 years ago but it's been sitting in a saw box for at least a year and a half. Crew gave it to the boss for red tag issues that they haven't got parts to fix and he asked me if I wanted it for scrap. I haven't tried starting it yet or anything. Just curious how much potential these saws really have, ported or just mild mm. I know chain catch is missing, busted break band, and on/off switch for sure. The last time I had anything to do with the saw it was a screamer, but like I said it's been a long time and the crew it was left with is not big on even basic maintenance. So my question is, part it out and scrap it or spend the time and money to make it a good saw again?
