I have yet to "suffer" from CAD
My local has a nice one for 800I lusted after a Marlin in .357 for a long time. I finally found a used one and it turned out to be a turd, so I got rid of it. I'm back on the hunt for one.

They aren't too fun to shoot... I was going to build one but not after playing with a couple... So my new build as soon as I get my action is going to be a 338 edge for long ball!!!

Can’t be no worse than a big 300
Idk... The 2 I shot kicked way more then my 300 win mag. But they were only in the 11 pound range. But so is my 300. My 338 edge will be 15-16 thoCan’t be no worse than a big 300
This is the good one...If it is a no manual safety model somebody will gladly buy it for asking price. They go for more than that on Gunbroker. Even the later safety versions go for $6-700.00. Would I spend that much if I were in the market for a .357 lever action right now? No, but I wouldn't sell the one I already have for $1000.00 or even $2000.00 either. My 1894 is easily the funnest gun in my whole arsenal and one of the most versatile too. If I ever get another new lever action it's going to be a Henry or Miroku made Winchester. My Henry .22 and Browning BLR (also made by Miroku) are just superb.
I want a 28 Nosler for a gun to shoot to a mile

I shoot an Armalite AR50 for my long range gun. At 40lbs, it's a good thing it has a lot of reach. You sure can't carry it very far.I like your style, I have a 300 Weatherby myself and love it. It's not too bad to shoot. I just use it for my long range setup though.
Not yet. The equipment is stupid expensive and components aren't much better.Wow, do you reload for that thing? I actually like big bores, I just don't like big recoil!
That wasn't a cheap day...338 edge is a 300 Remington ultra mag necked up to 338. I’m not recoil sensitive so they don’t bother me. I’ve shot 40-50 rounds of 338 Lapua “, 60-80 300 WSM, and 200 plus 308 in one afternoon.

Last time I shot that many rounds in one setting was prairie doggin' in South DakotaIt never is shooting a lot. Me and Arkansas Kevin shot 300 rounds of 6.5 Creedmoor in one afternoon and a pile of 223.
300 ultra necked up.What case is the 338 edge based off of or is it a new design. I don't believe that I've heard of that one.
