Some friends from Iowa spent the last 2 days riding up in the rain, so they could spend the hottest day we had here in central Wi riding the bikes!
I have a lobster like appearance going, but it beats being at work!

Only 2 of mine in that pic. Then 2 are my sisters and the other 2 are my cousins kids.

That town is so pleasantly quiet.

Looks like you all had a good time.
Sometimes a town can make or break that, other times it's what we bring to the town that makes or breaks it .
You could come out here to Michigan, we've got a relatively low cost of living and the pay isn't bad, plenty of jobs for folks who want to work.
Besides it's "The Next Place To Be" . I live in Lowell TWP, not sure it's the next place to be, but we like it a lot here.

Looks like a lot of action.
We had a front move thru last night at 2am, did a good bit of damage to homes and many are without power.
Buddy came over and grabbed a little Honda EU200oi generator, started on the 5th pull, another one started on the 3rd pull. They don't usually start that well after sitting for months on end as it takes a while for the fuel to get pumped to the carb so that was a nice surprise. Once started it's first or second pull and they are running for around a month then it starts taking longer.
Here's what we had down when I went out this morning. I'm heading out and I'll probably get some more pics.

Sure wish my little Bota would lift that much, but then again it wouldn't be little then lol.
I did get this seasoned chunk of elm this spring, it was everything my little bota had to get it from the neighbors to the house, had to bounce it a bit to get it off the ground.
