Actually thinking of welding some 1/4” plate on either side and then capping the bottom, or maybe some 2x4 angle.

It’s an 03 Ram Cummins so I need to try and save it. Not sure I want to get into a full frame swap but who knows...

What do you do when you crawl under your truck and see this?

You could drive it into a lake and collect the insurance.

Just worked on a truck that belongs to a local marina.
Water levels are high here. Multiple times they had the truck in water 6" up the doors.
Trans is cooked, multiple electrical issues.
Insurance adjuster came and looked at it.
They are totalling the truck. Marina gets a new truck because of stupidity.

So I was going to replace some trim, and the job got a lot bigger!

had to replace the rim and the corner stud, going to take off the roof put a new deck and shingles. But got the new plywood up, was not as bad as it looked, well kinda... just some time, it’s pretty easy work

Storm this morning ruined my daughter’s Arbor Day tree.

White pine. Sarah was 40 last November.

It's funny how those things go. I get to do a similar job this summer on the back of the house. I'll probably just pull all the siding off and go through that entire wall.

My neighbor went for a new roof last fall and ended up having to replace most of the sheathing. The coast environment is hard on houses.

Ya I think this will end up being the whole wall and new entry door! Ya the coast is a killer, this is the south side and gets all the weather! I wish tomorrow was going to be nice, but it’s supposed to rain all night and tell tomorrow noon! And the hardware store is closed Sunday because of Covid and staffing

And just now another thunderstorm rolling thru. The end of that ‘branch’ is still hanging on our electric service line. [emoji90]

I tried many times to prune off the lower branches but was out voted by the wife & daughter. Tree made itself into a bush.
