So we went to a local place my wife said ,'They have nice cheap trees'. My response was 'We're 5 mins away from millions of free trees. Lemme get a saw.' Needless to say, she stopped me. She doesn't like me going out poaching I won't be at the estate I work in Waterford until next week, so we can't just grab a tree from there either.
We ended up at the old Connacht House which has been transformed in to stables and a ring now known as Festina Lente. They teach kids how to ride, and let disadvantaged and special needs kids ride the smaller horses, or shetlands. It's located in a cool area that is sort of between councils, on the edge of Dublin county and Wicklow county, about 5 mins from the wife's home. Just a neat little retreat. So anywho, we got a nice tree for a great price and I took some photos.
This is one of their more mature ponies. The little guy just wanderes about the place most of the time. He's in the tack room here.

Just started here an hour ago. Had to give up and go inside. Kept slipping everywhere.

This may sound crazy, but that 136 is a hugely under rated saw. They are dirt cheap, parts are everywhere, they sip fuel, and they run strong.
Doesn't that cause cancer there .Another burn pile.View attachment 213275
Global warming! LolDoesn't that cause cancer there .
I'd like to have a fire where I get to sit down, to many that I'm just working, I still have at least a couple more large fires to go before all my junk wood is burnt up. Some day soon .
Little tie wire Randy lol.
