Lol, my sister in law lives in Camden, takes us an hour to get there. If you decide not to buy it pm me the info if ya would, I'd appreciate it. :)
I went back yesterday and the truck was no longer at the lot. Guy that owns the lot was not selling the truck, it's his friends (who I spoke with last Sunday). The lot owner said the truck owner was out of town until Thursday and that his friend had taken the truck and was going to drive it some and determine if he was going to buy it. So, technically its not sold yet but I won't know until Thursday but, I'm planning on upsetting my wife this Thursday. I'll let you know. You might hear the gun shots from your place.

Fire in the river bottom.

Pto pump bracket we’re redesigning to allow some movement so it doesn’t keep breaking with chassis flex.

Pic off the net. M35A2 like mine and and M123. Someday I hope...

I love ‘61-‘71 Dodge Sweptline trucks.

Guy that gave me the “chainsaw” gave me this antique.

Spring parade?

Had to stop and enquire about this truck today. The price is right.

'86 K20, 454, 400 turbo, NP208, 4.10 gears. Needs some tinkering, couple fluid leaks, missing front drive shaft and 4x4 linkage. Body is very solid. Would need new tires. $1400!!! I might be in the dog house soon.
So...... little misunderstanding about this truck, mone on that in a sec. I went and test drove it and crawled all over it. Here's what I noticed...
  • no front drive shaft installed
  • shifter/linkage for the transfer case not installed
  • Missing lower bell housing cover
  • Broken driver's side rear spring
  • Leaking front engine seal
  • Possibly leaking rear oil pan seal
  • Trans and transfer case support brackets not hooked up
  • No crank case breather hooked up
  • Home made oil fill hole in valve cover weeping oil all over brake booster and valve cover
  • Weeping coolant
  • Brake booster is from per 80's era, truck is register as '86
  • No body filler or patch panels but paint has scratches, chips and a dent in the hood
  • Tires are dry rotted and checked hard
  • Turn signals won't clear after turning
  • Truck pulls right when breaking
  • Bench seat cover was trash
Now, you might be wondering why I'd be so picky about all that given the price. However, I got talking with the guy and there was a big misunderstanding. Apparently when he told me that he was "asking 14 (fourteen) but would take 12 (twelve)" he meant thousand and not hundred!

 :risas3:

It didn't register when we first talked when he just said 14/12 for price. I did wonder why it wasn't sold yet for that price but I wasn't going to ask, just figured given everything I noticed it was still a project truck.

I follow the market for these trucks closely and there no way this truck is a $12k truck. The guy is smoking. :sifone:
On a good day I could see the truck selling for 4-6k.

Is that your milking cow? :goofy:

I'm glad you asked.

That is liddle Buttercup. She is a Jersey/Angus cross. I took her away from her momma in mid February. She stayed in this same stall for two weeks, then was moved into a field with six bred heifers. I noticed a few days ago that she was nursing not one, or two of the heifers, but all of them that couldn't fight her off.

So #milkstealer is back in the barn all alone.
