On the oiler, replace both gaskets as well. That can make a big difference. The other thing to look over is the check ball that's behind the spring in the oiler body. Make sure it's there and not stuck.
Failing that, sometimes they are just worn out.

Thanks Tim. I've been hoping to hear from you on this. I blew some crap out of the diaphragm driven plunger bore. It then seemed to pump well while running on the vise but still having issues. I had to remove the manual oiler lever to make room for the larger carb. I did make new gaskets. I'll take another look at it. I think I'll McGyver a button on the right side.

The crankshaft failed. Not a tight enough fit between the shaft and the cheeks. The weld failed and the flywheel side shaft wandered out of it's bore.
I'm making new shafts(from another donor crankshaft) with a larger diameter at the press fit.

Sorry to hear all that work building the crank got snuffed.

Did you have a chance to look at the bearings? I was wondering how well they were holding up.

Is Genius fest 2017 a go?

The shaft wiped out the thrust washer and then the bearing. The PTO side bearing seems fine.
I'm planning on you running it at Geniusfest. I want to see how it does against that 5200 of yours. I like that saw.

I'm hoping so.

I'm getting busier and busier. We really want to do one, Lisa and the kids have a great time.

I'm just worried about getting the wood....
