Laminated bars still don't impress me. Back in the early 1980's when I field tested the 72LG chain for Oregon on the job they gave all us fallers a Pro Lite bar to run the chain on. By 80 hours the rails were spread and the chain was under half filed back and was cutting off-on in the felling position.
I had to use my regular Windsor speed tip bar to finish off the chain.
Here's a 30 year old good quality solid body lightweight bar that I replaced the laminated crap that came with my new 550XP.
