Due to some changes in my life, I need to reduce the number of saws that I own. This is a Stihl 026 that is in nice shape cosmetically and runs well. It is pushing 165 PSI cold and comes with a 16" bar and chain (.325). One of the bar nuts was off in the picture, but will be included with the saw. Asking $250 plus the ride from 40502.

Is this a regular 026, or a PRO version?

This saw has the pro body though, with the oil set screw slot in the belly. It also has the clear gas tank, which is nice.

This is a "Red Lever" saw. I have one also and IMO, they are as good if not better than a Black Lever "Pro" saw. In addition to what was mentioned, they usually also have the better adjustable carb and the OEM muffler can/front cover is less restrictive. Mine oils like crazy even without the adjustable oiler. I also have a 260 Pro and the 026 feels stronger. Great saw, price and seller- buy with confidence.

Thanks for the explanation and endorsement, does this mean I should raise the price?

I have a second one here as well (already spoken for).

I would like to have it as well. Don't need it, therefore I will resist the urge!. But if it were like $100 then I would be forced to buy it!

Another 9 days have passed, anyone collected enough pop bottles or aluminum cans for the saw?

How many times have your kids "borrowed" money never to pay you back? Now is the time to turn the tables, borrow from them and buy something that will give you years of enjoyment.

No disrespect meant, but I believe that all 026 have the slot, even without the adjustable oiler.

024 and 024s do not.

So the slot doesn't mean it has the adjustable oiler, just the slot if you ever want to DOWNGRADE to the PRO oiler. I'll take the standard oiler anyday over the PRO, it oils so much better. The Pro is a stingy bugger.
