Worked on my GFY 346 last night got it back together. Had a lip on the sguish after the base gasket delete it was at .o15 it was holding me up. I figured a way to get it to .020. Got it back together last night.

Yep, we get a lot of wind. The fascia usually blows off around midnight on the coldest day in January. Lol

This time I put a shítload of silicone on the back of each piece and nailed it about every 18 inches. With extra nails on each seam. See how long that holds up.

Perfect. There’s a spec for glue and screw pattern. The only thing I got is next time use screws instead of nails, but you should be totally good with what you did.

If it happens again let me know and I’ll send you specs on how to over build the sh&t out of it.

Just checked with ASCE7 your risk cat is at 110mph Strange that you keep having this issue.
