I'm thinking some white oak will look great milled. Didn't think we had any white oak up here.

I’ve never seen white oak with points on it’s leaf. They always have rounded lobes

Definitely interesting leaf, some kind of hybrid cross???

We have three Polar shears at work. Mostly cut copper clads.

The oldest boy just got a camping hammock. Looks pretty cool, has a Skeeter net and rain fly. Kinda like a hanging pup tent.
Kinda like this...?

It could very well be Clint. I would guess there is probably at least 12 of them. The rest are blue oak and some black oak.

My hopes of syrup are shattered lol.
The more I look at your pictures the more it actually looks like a black oak. Most any tree will give sap suitable for syrup, but the yield from an oak would be not worth the effort.

Send some trees over buddy![emoji16]
What you need Dan, there's lots of types of evergreens.
We usually wait until they are going to throw a batch out. He supplies premium trees and gets the highest prices for them so he has to guaranty them, so every so often they just throw out the extras.
I like the Norways because they will block out the rd in the winter and they don't have all the needle cast issues the other spruce/pine do when planted close together.
My BIL just told me today he's looking at a gravley mower in PA, if he gets it I'll probably run down and get it for him, might work out well for you.

That looks like the making of a bad video there.
Pretty sure the one at :30 could be made into a gtg event.
