He's gonna say you'll need coffee and smokes.

So it never leavel your pocket eh?
Understand the TI suffix reference of the knife, before you go to running yer mouth.

...and WTF is ‘leavel’ your pocket? Talking *s-wordt again in typical fashion...

Lmao...some of these have never seen ‘carry’...but that’s besides the point. I tote a Kershaw Cryo 1555TI everyday, and it still looks brand new. Yer point...
mine are beat up but I've never broke a kershaw.
about 10 year's ago i found them for about
10-12.00 on eBay
so i bought a few
couldn't believe how good the metal in them has been.
all the Taiwan knives have been great.
looking at these zero tolerance clones now

Most all these Kershaw’s are $20-40 knives. I see no point in spending $75 and above for something that’s liable to end up lost, in the water, etc. The China steel can’t compare to American SG2, etc...for the money, you can’t beat ‘em. Spyderco, etc, their lower end knives are China grade steel. It ain’t like I’m using a knife 24-7, every single day with my job.

Maybe Nubz11 should pay a little more attention...and a little research goes a long way.

lots of the imports are supposed to be d2 who knows.
that used to be the rage in the custom knife
world.
I'm to clumsy for a high dollar knife.
the chinas have served me well.

I don’t see nothing wrong with ‘em. Keeping an edge on the blade so it can serve its intended purpose is all about the person owning the knife. Even if you have to completely re-profile the blade to another degree. The Lansky Diamond and their Arkansas stone sharpener hones have served me well over the decades. You can take a blade that don’t cut *s-wordt into a hair splitting edge in no time. I’ve got Chef’s Choice Trizor electric 15 degree sharpeners for my kitchen stuff. Everything else, hunting knives, etc...get either a 25 or 20 deg edge.

These Lansky sharpeners have served me well over the decades. I’ve had Kershaw’s, Spyderco’s, etc, etc brand new, come with hardly any edge on them whatsoever. And had to tune ‘em up a bit from the get-go. Some steels hold a better edge than others no doubt...ain’t reinventing the wheel there. It’s all about how sharp ya want one when it comes down to it.
