I like the 2511. Its excellent for its size and power output. I concur that 1/4 0.043 is better suited to it. But, with a good muffler mod (removing or bypassing the cat) and a proper tune they are shocking for their size.

They stock M5 and it's 1/2 the price of U4.4 for a 5gal pail....... Hmmmm.

Guess I need to start looking at a different carb setup.

This one is headed to Washington. The guy wanted it with 1/4 .043 carving bar from Sugi instead of the 1/4 .050 that it comes with typically.

I guess the .043 is a narrow kerf chain. I haven't ran one yet, but after handling this one, I'm curious to see how they run.
