Ashamed to say good morning this late, I guess I worked too hard yesterday and the body needed more sleep. Clock bonged 8 right after I got up. Changed the fuel pump on the k1500, took the bed off without help to do it. Mowed everything that needed mowing. Did some other stuff, and now I am sore!

Getting old beats the alternative!

Bunch of damn Sunday slackers in here. Breakfast has been made and eaten now need to go do some volunteer work at the local vfw. Relief valve for water heater dripping and the exhaust hood for the steak fry needs some modifications before our 1000 steak fry on November 10th for patriotic day dinner.

Those are the thickest looking poured walls I've ever seen. Looks good for sure. That ain't a Ryan home job there. Are the French drains also formed into the base pour?

10" walls are standard in our area anything less needs an engineer. We will put the footing drain in tomorrow. Goes next to the footing, covered in 3/4" stone, exited to daylight. Backfill the walls with good draining fill/sand. Makes for a nice dry basement. Made a little Picasso

Some fine groceries for breakfast…brisket biscuits. Made a can of eight biscuits, couple of pats of butter melted in each, then pile on a few thin-sliced pieces of brisket…damn near ate all eight. Of course milk to wash ‘em down with.

Morning/ Evening All. Slacking a bit this morning then running in to the city to meet up with Fam to celebrate E’s birthday. Then home to finish mowing the yard and prepping for winter.
Mornin' winter errand fellers!
The Toro mower was on the prowl in straight piped style. Bark boxers got nothin' on that beast!
Last night after the mow and leaf composting, the muffler and cutting deck Hangers got sum mig welder wire put to them. Some pretty and some not so much but in the end its solid. If you're not a welder, you're a grinder.
I was able to get the sizzling bacon and deposit speed right in the end!
Some gooder and some badder deposits but who's checkin'?

Last k1500 fuel pump I did I just slid the plastic bed liner out and cut a hole in the bed. Had it all done in under an hour. The alternative was watching bolts break and eating rust.

There were only 3 bolts holding the bed on, passenger front, and two rears. Had to remove the hitch to get to the back two bolts. Going have to do both pumps on the ferd too. Rear tank won't run at all, and front has low pressure. Soaking the bed bolts in preparation. The k1500 has lots of surface rust, but not the ferd! So should be eas.....different!

Now its time to replace filters, change fluids, and find out why the voltage warning lamp and coolant/oil warning lamps are on.

Morena E Hoa's.
Bit sluggish yesterday, late night our Saturday here.
After golf we had prizegiving for my soccer club, and at the same time international women's rugby across the road. Speeches finished and I changed venues for a couple of hours before switching back...
