Thanks for the welcome guys..... I have some questions about wood.... are wood logs on to store on the ground before splitting? When I split I put on pallets so they don't sit on ground... and also how long does wood take to season?

Should get them split asap so they start to dry. Drying times are different for every species. Oak takes 3 years. Beech and hard maple 2 years. Ash less than a year
