image.jpeg Sorry if this has already been discussed. We just got a new 550xp at work. It came with this sweet .325 18" bar that has a replaceable tip. How long have these been out people???????

Most came with the standard laminate
I bent a bar one day and needed a quick replacement ran to tsc and they had j red bars only at the time but they had replaceable tips on them I hadn't seen any husq varna bars in 325 with replace top before then that was years ago I think they're easier to find now but I usually don't use husq varna bars But honestly it seems like the replaceable tip 325 hasn't been around in husq varna brand forever if they have they weren't at my dealer

For me, it was the first time seeing a .325 bar with a replaceable tip.

You guys are saying that these have been around a while?

At first glance, one might think its a 3/8's bar.... I know i thought it was. I even told are stock room guy that they put on the wrong bar, but i did a double take to make sure and it said .325 lol

That is an oregon bar ,am sure you can get them from oregon without the husky logo

Every powermatch bar in .325 ive bought was a special order..its like a unicorn , some places say they cant even order them..but the pro-lite is a decent bar.

Does your same saw shop stock longer bars also ? like 36,42 inch and bigger ? May be a regional thing .
Could always get a tip and swap out a 3/8 bar also to get .325 ,as long as the groove is the same like .050 or .063

36 is the biggest.

The 346s i bought had those husqvarna branded powermatches though.

Do you saw shops stock HD2's and dual port muff's ?

I bought 4 346s new and everyone had .325x58 powermatch bars.

Idk if those husqvarna powermatch bars came in 50 gauge..i doubt it.

Only dual port they have are for 1122 and 1128 series steels ,they should have thr filters too ,they are next to the squarr chain reels of stihl or oregon to pick from there is actually a pretty good inventory there ,they sell klamsoil too

Junkman, nice post, but maybe you should back away from the jug for a few hours. (steels, thr, squarr, klamsoil?).

Just curious, is Klamsoil mentioned in the 'oil thread'?
