A section went through a sacred area and it was ultimately halted. Think is about 6 - 12 miles that separates

It’s s pretty nice road with curbs, rails and drains. Lots a slides and tree litter.

Triple back cut for a leaner aka coos bay triangle cut .Cut to prevent barber chairs .Yes it pulled fibers but the log did not break when it hit the ground .

Doug fir fell 180 from the lean between 2 other trees ,had to do the back cut first so did not set back on the bar ,set wedges ,do the face and pound it over .

Another doug fir on steep hill ,think it was about 120 feet tall roughly .This one made a lot of beams .The butt cut of this tree is behind the truck .

Taking this down lower so there is less to grind.

I went through a couple of 135dl chains on the 395 on the upper part of this stump. There was a decent sized rock in the middle.

I didn't have to cut it. Lol
It was taken down by another tree. WTF.
I think it is some sort of Aspen. Not sure exactly though.
Woods behind this lady's house was like tree dominos. 8 trees in total were downed by mother nature a couple months back in one of those storms.

I believe he is talking about how to cut veneer walnut, spur cutting or slick stumping is what we call it.

Bore cutting with no face, cut all the heartwood and leave a couple spurs holding as triggers. Nip em and let it go.

That's what I seen in the pics you posted, I've been wrong before though

Nope I've never cut a single tree like that. Those were all notched and bored.

Bar was a little short. Had to walk around it. Added a wedge in the back. Was t really necessary. Just my way High stump so I could get the best of my bar. Went back n flush cut it later. Not a giant but a nice oak
