Nope. I don't own a degree wheel nor would I take time on a stock work saw.

Running it...I've run enough big ones it's lost the fun factor. That one I have run a bit and unless that 42" bar is buried its not that impressive.
I ran two stock ones with 36" bars and one with a 31". Unimpressive and too heavy for my taste.
The owner of the company is the only one to run that saw. If I guessed a crane pick swung in or leaned that way and got it. Normal use is flush cutting stumps or when lifting large crane picks.
That crane seems a likely opps deal. Or....*s-word happens.

If it wasn't for Saun the saw would have been junked. The cost of a crane for a day to pick trees dwarfs the cost of an 880/3120. Normally from what I have seen it's an $8,000 day when a crane rolls up. The saw is the cheapest part of a tree operation.

It would have been a shame to see it scrapped. I'm currently fixing 3 394/5 cases that would have shared a similar fate.

Are all the cases & clutch covers magnesium or are some aluminum on different brands of saws.

If gluing a jug down I do it the same.. then add 518/MotoSeal/etc on the flanges while holding the jug up with the piston in. Crank needs to be at TDC. Much easier than trying to get the piston in over a glued flange.

I motosealed my 360. It was a PITA to get the rings in the jug without hitting the sealer.
