Jonsered 670w. What is the husky equivalent? I just scored one for $63. I’ll get some pictures up. This one fired right up and runs good.

Think it’s same as a 268xp. Pull the rewind and look to see if it’s a 1 or 2 pc ignition, can’t get the 2 pc in anything but a crap China aftermarket. I’m now 1for 3 making it past a year.

The auction listing said, “Pulls over, does not run”. I pulled it 10 times and it fired up. I didn’t even change the gas. After running the old gas out of it, now she fires on the second pull. I’m still going to give it to the department im asst chief for, just want to make sure it checks out.

Are any of you interested in a 2094 ? I have no idea about these saws and what they're worth.

Can anyone identify what model this saw is. A buddy just got it and we fired right up. IMG_20240113_194419.jpgIMG_20240113_194647.jpgIMG_20240113_194651.jpg

That's a model 930
The two screws on the air filter cover give it away .

Ernie
Thank you, much appreciated. Will look into it to see what that means. It does run.

Well actually it can be a 830 also
An 830 will have a 52mm bore and a 930 will have a 54mm...maybe you can see some numbers on the base of the cylinder on the clutch side .

Thanks Ernie, I will look closer next time he brings it over. It was all together as in the picture, and we were doing other stuff, so didn't try to tear it down any. Told him we will PV test it next time before he runs it. He doesn't know the history of the saw, so we will tread carefully. Either 830 or 930, we at least know what models it could be. Thanks again for the identification. Will update when we know more.

I gather this series was not highly revered. Nonetheless, probably one of the cleanest “free to a good home” local pickups I’ve ever snagged. Missing a couple things, but it started on some fresh juice. Nice rim sprocket and bar. Glad all the plumbing appears sound. Mostly because I don’t feel like splitting the whole top end just to service the oil pump. Sheesh.

Runs and oils well. Needs some sort of spike though. I’ll run it through some sticks on the next outing.

Your 520 is a good looker and the price was decently right

Used to be you could do that at the railroad station too. When someone died in a Kentucky prison back in the day, the state would box them up and ship them to the train station selected by their kin.
BET They didn't have "LOST MAIL/MALE ISSUES"
