Husky Parts Delay

I placed an order for husky parts from Jack's Small Engines on 9/17/2017. I still do not have the parts, more than 5 weeks later! This had been a trend for the last couple years but is only getting worse. Is this poor service a result of Jack's or of the Husky supply chain?

We order directly from Husqvarna, and have our parts within 3-4 business days. Unless it is something very obscure. Same deal with Power Distributors.

I ordered parts from Jack's as I was off work for a week and would not be near my usual husky dealer. Jack's website kept bumping out the delivery date. I called my dealer up and had it in 3 days and they had to order it. My dealer is only 30 miles from Jack's so probably same distributor.

Power Distributors bought out Mid West Engine. We order all of our carb kits, fuel lines, bulbs, Blount Products, etc from them.

Albeit nothing ordered within the last year, I've had some crazy wait times for parts as well from Jacks Small Engines...par for the course dealing with those folks I guess.

For me Husky is hit or miss, sometimes I place an order on Monday and have it that Thursday of Friday, and sometimes I have had to wait as long as eight weeks. There really seems to be no rhyme or reason.

I noticed with Jacks if they are missing 1 thing they hold up whole order till they get it in. I find out what is missing and say send without it. Then get that part elsewhere.

Its like that here in central La. For me at the Stihl dealer. If u order on Monday usually get it Thursday but if it comes from Germany or backordered? 2 months

I order directly from husqvarna and 90% I'd parts are 3 business days. Unless backorder or coming from othe warehouse

I order from Bob, (spike60) and it's always quick. Just got some stuff a few weeks ago. He also knows his chit and can answer any questions.

I hear ya Keith, but Bob is one guy worth over paying for something from, just to gather some knowledge from. He's like the pope of husky. Someday ill work on more Huskys. I still break out in a rash when I put tool to Husky.

I order from my local Amish dealer and I've never waited more that a week or two. That's even with horse and buggy delivery.
