Morning folks made it back from the Ozarks last night. Had a good ol 35 degree temperature drop on that short 4 hour drive.

Had Jasper county fair, lamb loin last night.

There is a "Food 4 Less" here in springfield, though, that runs some pretty good deals on the big rib roasts. Maybe same thing?

People don’t realize the state of MO is a huge beef calf producer.. we know quality beef.. it’s genetic.

Added a couple of oldies to my running and cutting lineup finally.
The ‘68 Super 33 got fuel and oil lines, plus a carb rebuild. The ‘67 Model 47 got a new oiler body, carb kit, points and condenser, and new lines too. Both saws demand that you take chances on the Fairbanks Morse recoils hooking up and turning them over to start.

GTG only saws on their best day though!

I've used your advise on both of these F-M recoils to make them work. They'll now function after a fashion. I doubt whether they were much more than worthless even when new!

I call *B-S..... Every time I go back to IA I bring home a cooler full of IA beef. MO might produce a lot of beef, but they don't know good beef.

Well we're on about hour 24 of a very slow rain. Ended up with an inch so far. They were calling for ice and snow and rain mix, which usually means we lose power. So thankfully it's just a rain and no wind. Supposed to rain all through the day and into the evening as well!
