80 clams a bucket is what I've been paying for 3" deck screws for a while now.

It ain't cheap to do anything anymore....
With luck at auction inexpensive supplies show up. Most of the other buyers are looking for resale items. Don't know what that 3/4 full pail cost full.

Springfield did..

We sure didn’t..
Went into the Lowe’s this afternoon on the south side of Spfd to buy some more house supplies. One of the employees showed us a picture of the inside of the store with 6 inches of water throughout. She said go check check out the wet box tables. Some pretty good deals going on. Went over to look at some of the stuff that was “wet box”. Saw a Bosch hammer drill in a wet box.
$300 drill priced at $150. Reading the wet box. It said included a plastic carry case. I bought it. Got it to the truck, opened the “wet box” and there was the drill still in its plastic case. Dry as a bone. When I was working for AutoZone maintenance I had one of these on my service van. Best hammer drill I’ve ever used. Been wanting one for myself.

Got the last of the windows installed this morning.
Then spent 3 hours getting the pair of living room windows trimmed out. Wound up removing them to tweak the house framing so they would fit correctly and not overlap. Now they fit correctly.
Thanks to my youngest son for helping me take care of this.

Found an add people looking for a jukebox.

Made the mistake of answering we have one to possibly get rid of.

Early- mid 70s Seaberg.

It hasn’t been played in maybe twenty years.

Now I’m looking for a service tech or someone to guide me along to get it operating again.

I have spent quite a bit of time working on a Seaburg... it was a bit older than yours I think.
Which parts are working and not?
Does the selector work?
Does the sound work once it has a record loaded?

Selector not working.
‘Turntable’ turning.
Sound if I touch the needle on the end of the tone arm.
Speakers look OK.

For the life of me I can’t remember where the contact rail is that we could polish with superfine sandpaper.

Going to look up the local vending machine co. tomorrow.

We have a Waffle House and they always have a jukebox.
🤞

We love recycled materials..
I don't care for reused stuff, but I'm poor & cheap so I do it anyways.

What really makes me feel dumb, is when I do the math and find out I only saved 50 bucks but I spent 50 hours doing so.

My bil saved around $500 on the metal after factoring in our extra time messing with the used material, so I s'pose it was worth it this time.

I only have one rule..
If we’re going to salvage stuff, it’s gotta be free..
Levi’s time ain’t that valuable though..
he’ll step over a $20 bill to pick up a nickel.
