Evening gents. Hope all is well. If you don’t have your shopping done your bout outta time! Went and got the wife a new vehicle yesterday. ‘14 Grand Cherokee diesel. Got 28-30mpg coming home with it stock. Curious to see what it’ll get tuned.

What will it pull? Or does it have that rating?
May you enjoy safely all these holidays

Can I use a carbide tip masonry bit to drill (drill press) an oil hole in a guide bar?

Not wanting to ruin six or eight HSS more bits on the darn thing.

All I need is to break out a tad into the groove.
Our body shop uses these to drill spot welds. They last an amazingly long time. You can shave with the cutting edge. You need to sit down before you price them.

Merry Christmas all!!!!

All these new rigs can pull more than what they're rated for.

It's just the stopping part that ya gotta worry about.

Have you looked up the actual testing course they use to rate them by. You have to pull the load up like a 30* grade. Stop and the parking brake has to hold the load. Then you have to accelerate in to the top. It’s actually a pretty hard test. And that’s just one part. And everything is timed as well.

I hear that! I've told my mechanic for a while before he was willing to upgrade brakes on mini van. S 10 trailer with all the brake stuff intact. Got an actuator that uses a weight to operate pressure when slowing, back of when acceleration comes back.
Now I must stay aware of how the tranny needs to be treated.
Merry Merry Happy Happy. Safely
