I had a 360 at one point I think. I think the sparky parts went to @Benwa and I forget where the rest went. @Maintenance Chief?

I will probably give this back to the buddy who gave it to me. He doesn’t have much use for a saw but he bout a little homeowner Stihl turd for his yard. Probably better off with this…

my 925 I want to get running, low compression.

I got super ez parts.

This show of Homelites takes me back in time a while .There were two real popular saw brands those days being McCulloch and Homelite .It corresponded with Farmall and John-Deere you might find on the farm .The tractors would run forever and so have the chainsaws .The tractors although mostly retired now have plowed a lot of farm land and the chainsaws have cut a lot of firewood .Times changed ,things improved ,evolved so to speak .The tractors ended up tucked away in a shed some place and the saws some times to the shelf or abandoned in a fence row to rust away .50 years later somebody gets interested in them and they spring to life once again .

A trio of 7-29's. All have nice looking pistons, and one needs carb work but is almost a runner. One barked on a prime, and the other I have yet to try. I want to see the one with the 60" bar run against my Mac 73 with the same length bar in big wood.

I have a homelite question. Are the rim sprockets on the homelite 550 the same large spline as what is on newer saws like Stihl or husqvarna?

My co-worker gave me his homelite 550 yesterday to replace the rim sprocket. I went to remove the clutch and it has a crack in it. The holes for removal are beat up like someone took a flat chisel to it. Anyone have a six shoe clutch for a 550?
