Hello Everyone and Greetings from South Central Alaska (and Molokai Hawaii)

I am a former very minor member of a couple of other chainsaw oriented forums

I am not sure how I missed the existence of this forum but I am glad I finally tripped over it

My forum participation on those other sites dwindled to nothing because I got tired of the constant juvenile behavior and bickering

I lurked here long enough to see that many of the cool kids must have had the same thought process because I see them here engaging in polite discussions

Not to say I won't join in or even start a "fun" conversation but I will do it within the bounds of the rules

Enough blah blah blah.....

Glad to be on board and looking forward to participating

Nothing but by the book, serious chainsaw discussion in here.
Performance mods are frowned upon as well as loud noises.
Air filtration and big end bearing lubrication are of the utmost importance.
Slow and steady wins the race.

Wait....Nah, hold my beer and watch this!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone

Between sending my first post and now I sealed the deal on a new Dolmar PS-5105 complete with a Monkey Man woods port so I am already adding to the herd....

Happy Friday and everyone have a great weekend

Welcome to OPE. Now run fast and far!! Some of these guy cut highly addictive square trees into super short cookie like pieces of firewood!!

I’m telling you they usually use saws that have been “molested”and they are loud, scary and highly dangerous..... and those are the guys running the saws!

Welcome Michael - I think I talked to you on the "other" forum. You'll be pretty happy with a Mooberizer saw - I have several.

Yeah, Randy is great to work with

He turned my PS-6400 into a PS-7900 and it is a beast....
