What all is different on ignition? I read a conversion thread on another sight where a guy just threw in an aftermarket coil on it.
I would highly recommend leaving it stalk they don't see the lode of like a chain saw and there wide open throttle thus reason for limited coil.

I was thinking one day I could covert it over to a saw and buy a clone 372xp and throw the cut off attachment on it.

Sure looks like it. Original coil likely failed and someone stuck a 372 coil in there.

Little on the dangerous side to run a concrete blade at 13,000 rpm, so be careful on dropping different coils in there.
Good thing I have a tach.

So believe it or not that piston and cylinder has compression. Lol. Not gonna run it but I find it amusing. However I think the magnets on flywheel or coil is bad spark is really anemic.

Well that's sad
If it has the 375k 51.4mm cylinder on it there is no aftermarket piston available.

Well that's sad, looks like I'm running an oem build only

So last night I ordered a fly wheel and unlimited coil and bearings W/ seals. They were combination of aftermarket parts for $26. At least this way I can see if coil or the magnets were bad. The bearing I'm a little hesitant on since I've only had experience with the 070 and 660 AM bearings. I may still order a set of OEM or equivalent. Dealer quoted $16 a piece for new bearings. If anyone knows a better place for pricing that would be great. I'm also tempted to but the cheapest piston I can find and run this cylinder into the ground. Who else wants too see how long it lasts?

Edit: should I do a one or two ring piston?

Where are you going to get the cheap piston from?

Ebay probably. The cylinder looks like an aftermarket. I'm going to remeasure the bore tonight.

From I've seen, Mahle make all the cylinders for 372 family (non XT).
If you dont see Mahle on the jug. It's aftermarket.

Crank bearings are regular 6202 C3 tolerance. OEM is just SKF. You can use other brand.
