Got my food plots in a bit late for me but finished.
Tried to cover with a 2x6x8' plank but didn't seem heave enoughto do any thing. Dug a old 12x24 tire out of my old tractor tire pile and that worked well except in the sand pit as I call it.

Probably didn't really need to cover the seed as I finished at 12:45PM and it was pouring a seed driving rain at 2:30PM. it was so hard I know it would have drove th eseed in the ground good.

I am now searching for a culapacker to buy, No not new a worn out hunk of junk I can rebuilt about 5 or 6 feet wide to do 95% of my plots.

I was just prepping the crossbow last night. My buddy is taking one for the team and has been on site prepping all the stands this week, since no one else can escape from work during the week.

Deer activity has been looking great the last few months. Our season opens this Saturday.

You waiting for rifle/shotgun?

I am waiting for fire arm season. Be it hand gun, rifle, shot gun or muzzle loader. I spend the better part of 2 months in the woods waiting.

I don't bait and the food plots I have in now are just for attracting the deer from the corn fields hopefly even holding them.

We built a drag out of pipe to level fields if needed. I have seen people do a pipe over a pipe to use as a cultipacker. We use a Brillion Sure Stand cultipacker seeder for our fall perennial plots. Surely you can find a pull type around there cheap.
