I am a fan of matching. I even match the angle. It's all about the flow, mang.

Well here it is. Still need to lightly hone the cylinder a bit but I'm done grinding on it. Ended up 106,126,80. I did pretty good until I got to the transfers. I didn't have any small sanding cones to smooth everything out real nice so I used an egg shaped diamond bit. Smoother than the carbide but but still not slick. 20200315_111511.jpg 20200315_111522.jpg 20200315_111537.jpg 20200315_111547.jpg 20200314_152738.jpg Let me know what you all think.

20200315_121347.jpg current muffler mod is an enlarged factory hole with a piece of 1/2" tubing out the side. I've got a piece of 3/4" should I go bigger ?

I think I like it but what do I know.. I still don't have the confidence needed to try this - but posts like yours are having an effect on me

1/2” should work just fine, nice clean work there. Is your muffler hollow? No divider?
No it's just a hollow can.
I'll fire it up tomorrow but it'll be a bit before it see's wood. Evidently a chicken got up on my bench, scratched around and the gear to drive the oil pump is missing in action. It needs a new spur anyway so I guess this will force me into ordering it.
