Echo CS 501 P

In Canada , it replaces the CS 500P . I'll be getting mine end of the month along with a 590 and a case of 12 one liter bottles of Red Armor oil .
Supposed to be a tad lighter than the 500 and about .5 more HP ,D type H & L carb adjusters too .

The CS 501SX that I posted earlier will not be the model in North AM and it has a limited coil by the look of it .

We have them for almost a year now, but no parts available. I tried to get a coil for Red97 but they can't order it, they don't have the serial number... I don't know how it is in other countries, but that's another good reason to stay away from Echo for me.

I'll check into parts status and also I can likely find out what's going on in the US as far as the 501sx goes .
The head of Echo Canada is also looking after all of North-Am now so I'll be able to get some info .

Lighter than MS261 and 550XP ,saw threads in Europe say it's better than the others as well in reliability and power . Interesting !!

Lighter than a 550xp & current edition ms261, more powerful than either and on top more reliability than Stihl's solid ms261!! Wowzers this sounds like the holy grail of 50cc saws... 'IF' even half of this 'IS' true, myself along with many others will buy this saw. A competitive 50cc saw with tunable carb will be appreciated by many. What's the MSRP??

Looked like a Tsumura tip on it.
The videos are not really that impressive to me at the current time. Just my initial impression.

Hopefully since you actually have the saw, you can get "replacement" parts...

Seems most of the high end new shindaiwa come with a similar bar.

I doubt this one is gonna be in the 300$ range of the 490. Guess the same 600$ of the rest of the 50cc market.

Either way, I believe it will be worth it for someone need/wanting a pro 50cc.

I know it is only a video, but the motors just sound a little odd at WOT. I don't know. Maybe it's just me.
