Heath ran .404 on it the first few years......then switched to 3/8s.

Parts are ordered. It's getting a complete rebuild. Even a new rope rotor and pawls.

I know what you mean .
I did a really old 066 for a fellow at work this winter ( with some good advice from JJ). All seemed good and in great shape, ran it for 5 minutes in wood and the flywheel bearing seized fast! Complete rebuild.....

I've not disassembled the carb yet. But I have a feeling the diaphragms will be soft yet.

I’ve only got 2 that aren’t ported & they will be once I find someone to port pocket clamshells.

I never leave out a base gasket if the base is thick enough to cut it for one. This is probably the only 461 I ever did without a base gasket. I'll check squish and machine the base to be able to add one.

One of the reasons i had chosen you for porting my stuff!

Bubba sucks at cleaning parts. He finds it incredibly boring. Yesterday I cleaned all of these parts while he was taking saws apart. I find the cleaning of parts extremely satisfying.
