I had a guy sell me diamond grit chains. Looked like diamond file. Who makes it? The internet hasn't helped much, to my surprise. Can be sharpened like normal chain but stays sharp longer in dirty conditions. Not a full carbide.

Yeah I too wanna see this diamond chain....may be able to sharpen your files with it.

@huskihl has an efco (i think) concrete saw with a diamond chain, never heard of a diamond chain for wood cutting, and not one that can be filed...

I think he means a wood cutting chain that has carbide pieces bonded to it. I doubt it's actually diamond.
But yeah, the one I brought home from TN is a diamond chain on a concrete saw

There is a concrete diamond chain thats been up for sale on my local eBay for $450!:eek: but its nothing like a regular saw chain in design. I think its for one of them ICS?? made saws.

Yup it was just like that, 16" I think. Can't think how diamond grit would help a saw chain, it would punish your sharpening gear.

Just like which? The cutter tooth I posted has tungsten carbide bonded to the tooth. It can only be sharpened with a diamond wheel. The pic of the concrete saw has a diamond chain on it for plunge cutting concrete and can't be sharpened. It just wears out with use
