I guess I'll just make sure its smooth right there and see what happens. I tossed it in the trash last night but dug it back out to see what you guy's thought about it.id just blend it in. call it research, and maybe extend that upper more toward the intake more than u normally might.
It did cross my mind.JB weld!?
It's usually the answer to everything and anything on this forum.
I've just started trying to port saws not to long ago and I don't think I'm ready to try bridge ports. I'd probably screw the cylinder up even more.Since its a personal saw I'd add a bridge port to see how it runs like so as long as the end of the rings wont catch it.
Ok, thanksRun it
I did and it's not catching.By the looks of things that gouge looks like it has enough of an up angle it won't snag a ring . Stick a piston with the rings in the bore and test it .
That gives me a some hope. I've always tossed the cylinder if it was just a little messed up.I put this 48mm jug on an 034 chassis with a cleaned up piston. It runs as good or better than any 036 I've had. I have over a dozen tanks on it now. With the flow lines in the plating I'd say it was like this from the plant. The jug came off of a long running saw that had gotten an air leak. I cleaned up the transfer and didn't touch these spots.
