I simply just use dirko ht instead . Easier to clean up.

I only use Dirko on cylinder flanges now. I had one failure a few years ago on a saw that was sealed with 518. Now I only use it for a gasket dressing.

The super scraper is AWESOME.

I use one for tough stuff on old AG equipment and the like. A better scraper I've yet to find.

Your not going to find it you have to make it.

This is my best scraper copper pipe couple swipe s with a file. I used to have a brass blade scraper and that was the best. This copper will not damage aluminum and hard enough to get whatever off . Give it a whirl...

Razor blade to get big chunks off. Back drag with a super scraper to get down to clean metal.

I switched to Motoseal for this reason. I still have 518 though.
