New guy here. Couldn't help myself and built a 660 clone. Here is a link to a short vid
It is all Farmertec except for Hyway big bore kit and OEM decomp valve. It has 6 degrees of advance and monified dual port muffler with .023 squish. The chain is a new 36RS loop. It seems to have decent power but I think the chain could work better. I am going to drop the rakers to around .040. Running it at 32:1 and tuned to 12000 to break it in. The log in the vid is a 23" hackberry. This thing drinks like a sailor on shore leave. Went through 3 tanks of gas in about an hour. I don't need a saw like this but I guess I needed a "My saw is bigger than your saw" thing. Most folks around me call a ms290 a big saw LOL.
