Chainsaw life expectancy?

My crappy homeowner husky weedeater has a compliance period of 50 hrs. Im sure im beyond that, but this things on its way out. My ebz8500 backpack blower has a compliance of 300 hrs, which im past or very close to at this point but i hope to get a couple hundred more hours out of.

It all depends on how you take care of stuff and how its used amd how its stored. In theory a chainsaw can last forever if you have a steady stream of parts, so using an hour rating agreed upon by the manufacturer amd the epa as a minimum number of hours a piece of ope should survive under normal use is as close as we can get.
