When I was little I remember some friends used to cut and bundle brush. I hate handling/disposing of branches and like to make use of everything...brainstorming for easy ways to bundle. Short section of small cable to choke and then string, or wire tie? hmm...

Use jute rope or twine to tie the bundles. Then you can throw the entire MF'r on the fire.

I was thinking I wouldn’t want the twine to burn and throw flaming branches out of the fire if under tension...

I don't get it, why chop it that short!
That is perfectly good firewood once cut to normal firewood length.
I cut stuff like that to 12ish inches on my little circular saw and burn it mixed in with my quality firewood.

In Switzerland they bundle the cut grape vines and burn them.
I never bothered to find out how they bundle the stuff but I can find out.

There are a bunch of similar machines posted on YouTube, that have been mentioned in these forums over the years. A lot of them seem to be from Poland (I learned that 'Rębak' means 'chipper', which is how I search for these!). Maybe there is an application for farming, cooking, or home heating in Poland that uses this size of wood? We have people here in the US that heat with pellets, and they are lots smaller!
