Thanks, I drove down south to buy that 12v in 2012. It had 112k when I got it. I put a dual disc clutch in and kdp, 5th gear nut fix, but haven't got to motor mods yet...got a bunch of parts though. I really don't want to turn it up till I get studs and head o ringed. Its straight piped with gauges. Try not to drive it in winter. Got a few other trucks and off road woods beaters but they aren't pic worthy yet lol.

What motor swap? Love old Fords...more splines in drivetrain, high pinion front diffs, coil suspension, twin I beam for desert racing, 60s Broncos.... etc... so many things beefier or ahead of thier time.

Right now it’s got a 351M, swapping in a 408 stroker (351W) from Blueprint. I’m leaving the current NP435 4 speed trans and NP205 transfer case, probably just replacing the seals on those. Can’t wait to get the truck back on the road, has been sitting in my garage for over a year now without moving.

A number 10 plate, 4k governor springs, big air filter and some gauges will keep you happy for a while. It wont require studs either. To cool it down a little I liked to advance the pump timing a few degrees...also nets a couple mpg extra! Food for thought my friend :)

Def, I have timing bunped some already, 4 gsk in box with valvesprings to go on, aftermarket return valve, Big Filter, 3rd gen style intercooler piping and an older Ats aurora 2000 that is getting rebuilt with heavier bearings to go on. Then AFC live and compounds.

100 plate ground myself was always my favorite along with about 19-20 degrees of timing on a 4.10 truck. A stock governor spring works great in the AFC as well.

I am digging the AFC live too, I work in suburbs often and wouldn't mind being able to adjust afc with knobs in dash to clean up truck or go full power.

That sounds like a nice truck. Eventually I want to get something like that for using around the farm. I keep going back and forth between a dump and a flat bed. I started looking for one but I put it on hold until I finish up some other projects.

I have a hoist unit and pump if you are interested. Its an older one but is really heavy duty. Full c channel on lower and upper frame.
