That paper couldn't have been more biased, but I digress. What's happening here isn't actual capitalism. It's a bad cross of Crony capitalism, and socialism, much to the dismay of the industrial might we used to possess as a nation. I'm sad to see them go, though I've been a much bigger fan of both Honda and Kawasaki engines for some time.
Briggs used to be the standard, and near indestructible. Their 37hp FI engine has been pretty good for Scag and Grasshopper mowers, we'll see what's next, as Kawi has issues with FI for OPE, which is a shame, as the FI engines are vastly better on fuel and combustion regulation. Especially so, given the "quality variance' in currently available fuels... Honda makes a great engine, but their 20hp+ V-twins lag Kawi currently.
