Bought a couple two man beasts.

Mall model 11 and a Mercury KB6AX twin cylinder.
Mall was restored years ago and turns over nicely. Should make an easy runner.
The Merc will need ALOT of love, but just having a twin cylinder saw is good enough for me.

Olive drab green for the military. I think they were grey for civilian use.

Larry Stiener has one of those Mercurys with a scratcher chain and about 6 foot of bar .He hit something with it and had a time figuring exactly how to refile it .I don't know if looking at the chain on Mike Acres site if it could be figured out or not .

I thought is was a Military version. Civilian KB's were orange in color.

I just picked up one of the kb6-ax as well. Found this video of the military model running. Has a very cool sound for certain. Have you gotten yours running yet?

From what I have been told and read on these. The orange were civilian use, the green was Army, and the silver or grey were Navy.
