Anyone have any of the big cylinders laying around for some bolt spacing measurements I am planning a potential hybrid mission but need some info on where to start on a cylinder. I am thinking if anyone has 084, 088, 3120, or even an 066 or 395 cylinder laying around those would be my first options. If anyone knows of any other bigger cylinders let me know of those too. Maybe even a 390xp

Nice thanks!
Stihl ms660 base bolt pattern, dimensions pulled from a cylinder.

I thought I had an extra 880 base gasket laying around, but I don't. I'd have to pull the cylinder off the 880 to grab dimensions. Sorry about that.

Edit, changed wording to make it easier to find for anyone searching the web for the dimensions.

Don't make me feel bad! I'd like to see the 395s dimensions as well.

I actually found a 395 base gasket I will send you measurements when I get a second. What are you thinking about trying to put the 395 cylinder on?

395 is a square 56mm (pto to Fw) x 54mm (int to ex), but the deck height is much lower on a 395 compared to a 6400. 10mm or more lower. No go.

I am trying to find options for 9000 not 7900 though so one of those may work for me
I'm also 0n the lookout for an option for a 9000 as well. I do think an 880 will work with lots of modifications on the case.

@srcarr52 has put a 58mm 395 on a 9000.

The 395 I heard was a lot of work same with 084 and 088 just wonder which one might be better but then solid runner could be just 066 would be a pretty good bump in displacement

I had to deck the case 0.100" to get the 395 cylinder to work as I didn't want the mounting flange to get too thin.
